Everton East for Everyone - Pride in Place Programme Funding

Everton East has been chosen as one of just 146 places in England to benefit from the Pride in Place Programme (PiPP) – securing an extra £2 million a year for the next ten years to invest in local projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for our community. For the first time, decisions about how this funding is spent will be made by local residents themselves – marking one of the biggest transfers of power from Whitehall to our neighbourhoods.

The programme focuses on strengthening disadvantaged communities, rebuilding trust through public leadership, and helping residents shape a stronger, more resilient, and more integrated Everton East.

Over the coming weeks, I will be working with local stakeholders and local residents to set up a Neighbourhood Board to oversee how the funding will be used. We also want to hear directly from you in the coming weeks – through surveys and conversations – to make sure every voice in Everton East is part of this journey.

This is your community, your voice, and your future.
